연구실 소개

첨단 열시스템 연구실에서는 히트펌프 시스템, 건물 냉난방 시스템, 열관리, 그리고 저급 열원을 활용한 발전 시스템 등 다양한 열역학 시스템들에 대해서 기초 및 응용 분야 연구가 수행되고 있습니다. 열역학, 열전달, 유체역학 관련 필수 전공지식과 전기화학, 재료과학 등 핵심 전문지식, 그리고 이를 융합/활용하여 열시스템의 에너지 효율과 기능성을 향상시키는데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 연구 주제의 예로, 전기화학시스템과 기존에 존재하는 열시스템을 융합해서 그 에너지 효율을 저비용-친환경적으로 높이는 연구와, 건물 및 산업부문의 탄소중립을 위한 고온 히트펌프 시스템 연구가 있습니다.
